Fashion Camp For Teens Coming To Cary

Teens interested in the fashion industry will be able to learn techniques and more during North Carolina’s first fashion camp.

Fellow North Carolinian, 19-year-old Austin Jade Murray is launching “Austin Jade Fashion Rocks” camp to foster her ambitions of putting the Tar Heel state on the fashion industry map. Murray has interned in New York for fashion labels such a Nautica. She has launched her signature Austin Jade Collection.

Twenty-five youth from Cary and surrounding areas will be chosen to participate in a six week, after-school camp. Students passionate about learning the world of fashion will be selected based on their application and essay entry.

The camp will take place between March 19 and April 30, every Thursday from 3:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at Cary High School. Interested students can pick up applications at Cary High School, Panther Creek, Apex, Athens Drive and Broughton.
