Cary Fashion Designer Launches Summer Camp
After much success from her first fashion camp, celebrity designer and Cary native, Austin Jade Murray is launching a summer camp for teens.
Fashion enthusiasts will get the inside scoop on the fast-paced fashion industry during the 2009 “Austin Jade Fashion Rocks” summer camp.
Campers will gain real world experience and learn more about designing and sketching, modeling, and hair styling. But the best part of this summer camp is that one very talented student will have his or her design chosen to be part of the next Austin Jade Collection.
Students will also have the opportunity to secure an internship and gain admission to top design schools.
The summer camp will be held daily from July 6-10 for students ages 11 through 19. Campers meet each day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the end of the camp session, students will produce a real runway show.
Those who register by June 30 will receive a discounted tuition rate of $163. Applications submitted in July are $179. Tuition includes lunch, materials and a camp t-shirt.
