Hot Summer Nights Presents Sylvia
Those hot North Carolina summer nights are back so why not spend them indoors at the Kennedy Theatre for Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy.
The professional summer theatre company is opening their fifth season with the comedy Sylvia written by A.R. Gurney.
The play stars Broadway actress Lisa Jolley. Jolley starred as Prudy Pingleton in “Hairspray” and now lives in Raleigh. Sylvia tells the tale of Greg and Kate and a smart talking lab and poodle mix that becomes a major bone of contention between husband and wife.
Sylvia opens June 17 and runs through June 28. Wednesday through Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. You can purchase tickets through Ovation Tickets by calling 866-811-4111 or online by clicking here.
