Here’s a fast fact for you: “The Hangover” star Zach Galifianakis, who plays Alan, attended N.C. State University.

According to IMDB, Galifianakis was born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina and attended N.C. State in Raleigh. He left college after failing his last course, by one point!

I don’t recommend not finishing college, but in Galifianakis’ case, it was a smart move. “The Hangover” has spent two weeks at the number one spot in box offices and has earned more than $150 million.

“The Hangover” also stars the very handsome Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms and is rated “R”. Click here for showtimes.

Here’s one last fact: Zach is the nephew of former US Congressman Nick Galifianakis (NC) (1967-1973), who ran for US Senate against Jesse Helms in 1972.
