“Ghostbusters” and “Blues Brothers” star Dan Aykroyd was in Raleigh Tuesday to promote his new venture. It’s not a movie, it’s not an album, it’s vodka.
Aykroyd has produced and distributed wine for many years, but has decided to make a vodka. Crystal Head Vodka was created as a result of Aykroyd’s fascination with the supernatural.
Hundreds of fans lined up outside the ABC store on Town Center Drive to meet the SNL star and to purchase a bottle of his vodka.
One fan drove from Virginia and even dressed as one of the characters from the “Ghostbusters” movie in hopes of getting Dan Aykroyd to sign his costume.
The skull shaped bottle of vodka will set you back about $50.
