Varsity Theatre Coming Back To Chapel Hill
Varsity Theatre, a Chapel Hill staple on Franklin Street, is set to re-open in mid-November.
Chapel Hill residents Susan and Paul Shareshian have taken over as owners and restored the iconic theatre.
“We want to bring back the feeling of a classic old-tie movie theater and also provide a clean and fun space,” said Paul Shareshian in a press release.
Upgrades include a new lobby and concessions area as well as the addition of a children’s birthday party room.
According to the press release, The Varsity will show recently released and classic movies with all tickets only $3.
