Comedian Gabriel Iglesias Coming To Raleigh
Gabriel Iglesias and Live Nation has announced he will be coming to Raleigh as part of his “Comedy Central Live: Gabriel Iglesias The Fluffy Shop” tour.
Tickets go on sale November 7 with a fan club presale beginning Nov. 4. And here’s a little secret…if you want to get those really good seats during the fan club presale, add him as your friend on Myspace.
Iglesias, known for his “I’m not fat…I’m fluffy” jokes and for wearing a Hawaiian shirt, will perform at the Meymandi Concert Hall at the Progress Energy Center on March 7 at 7 p.m.
Live Nation is producing his tour which kicks off January 14 with a 50 date trek across the country.
Tickets for the show will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Progress Energy Center Box Office or by phone.
Iglesias has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” as well as “Last Comic Standing”. And if you can’t wait until March 7 to see Iglesias on stage, Comedy Central will air the world premiere of Iglesias’s “I’m Not Fat…I’m Fluffy” stand-up special on Nov. 8 at 9 p.m. It will then be released on DVD.
