Menopause The Musical Coming To Raleigh, Tickets On Sale

091117_menopauseSex and The City 2 doesn’t open in theaters until May 2010, but why wait that long to enjoy a Ladies Night Out filled with laughter?

Tickets are now on sale for the March 13 and 14 performances of Menopause The Musical, which will be playing at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts.

The musical is set in department store (a haven for women everywhere) and follows four women with nothing in common but a black lace bra that met at a lingerie sale.

It’s an all-female cast making fun of hot flashes, mood swings and chocolate.

“There is always a close friend or two who can sympathize or identify with her, but when they are sitting in a theatre with hundreds of other women, all laughing and shouting‚ ‘That’s me! That’s me on stage!’ they know what they are experiencing is normal. They aren’t alone…or crazy. It becomes a sisterhood,” said writer and producer Jeanie Linders.

Tickets start at just $29 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
