‘Blood Done Sign My Name’ Movie Has Release Date

080714_movie_apRALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – A movie about the killing of black man in 1970 in North Carolina and the subsequent trial and acquittals will be released in February, timed to coincide with Black History Month.

“Blood Done Sign My Name” will be released to about 100 screens nationwide on Feb. 19. The cities include the usual ones, such as New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta, but also smaller ones with a particular interest in the story, including Charlotte and Raleigh.

The movie is based on the book of the same name by Tim Tyson, who grew up in Oxford during the time of the shooting and trial.

Screenwriter Jeb Stuart, who wrote action films such as “Die Hard” and “The Fugitive,” also directed “Blood.” The movie stars Rick Schroeder and Nate Parker.

The author Tim Tyson and screenwriter Jeb Stuart can not present anything credible to the public with this film because of the lies in the book “Blood Done Sign My Name” It always amazes me how many people accept anything they read as fact.
And that someone like Tyson teaches at a reputable school anywhere. If you don’t believe it just Google Tim Tyson exposed.

The website that “Kalo” cites is run by the Teel family, three of whom committed the brutal killing at the center of “Blood Done Sign My Name.” Needless to say, they don’t like the book or the movie, and the website makes all kinds of unsubstantiated and picayune complaints about the book. Anyone of ordinary intelligence who compares the book and the website will have no trouble deciding which is more credible and significant. Now that Larry is no longer managing the website, it is slightly less illiterate, I will give them that. They don’t let anyone comment–for good reason.
