Campaign To Bring Conan O’Brien To Raleigh
That’s apparently what two radio hosts in Raleigh are trying to do. 96 Rock Mornings host Demetri “The Greek” Ravanos and his sidekick partner Salt MacMillan are on a mission to bring the former host of the Tonight Show to Raleigh.
In a press release from the duo, it stated they got the idea to invite O’Brien to perform in the parking lot of a Sheetz gas station after hearing O’Brien make a joke about his next gig in a 7-11 parking lot.
“We don’t have 7-11’s in the Triangle. We have something better,” said Ravanos. “Sheetz has better food, better coffee and gas.”
Ravanos and MacMillan have set up a Facebook group called Triangle Team Coco for listeners to show their allegiance to O’Brien and a second Facebook page called Bring Coco to the Triangle for listeners to show support for the idea.
