Dora The Explorer, Storytime Live Comes To Raleigh
Dora the Explorer stopped by NBC-17 studios Friday morning to talk about her show “Storytime Live!” at the Progress Energy Center in Raleigh.
Dora, along with The Backyardigans, The Wonder Pets! and Ni Hao, Kai-Lan will all be performing live at the theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
In this all new adventure features characters from four of the current top-rated preschool shows on television. Children and parents can see their favorite Nick Jr. characters come to life on stage.
Each segment of the show will feature different adventures. Kids can help Dora become a princess and go on an adventure with The Backyardigans.
Dora says so far this has been her favorite adventure of all time.
“This is my favorite adventure because I get to wear a pretty yellow gown,” Dora tells NBC-17 Today anchors Penn Holderness and Sharon Tazewell.
Here’s a little tidbit for you. Dora’s costume, which consists of a t-shirt, shorts and a backpack costs about $10,000! Amazing!
