Girl Power At Raleigh Little Theatre

rltWritten by: NBC-17 Today anchor Sharon Tazewell

Who said construction and electrical work was a guy’s job?

I’m about to take you behind the scene at Raleigh Little Theatre and introduce you to several teenage girls who designed, constructed and even hung heavy lights for a show now playing, called The Great-Cross Country Race.

CORRECTION: NBC-17 incorrectly identified the age of one of the girls featured in the video as being 13.  According to the family, she is 14 years old.

This is great! Way to go girls! Thank you NBC-17 for highlighting Raleigh Little Theatre, especially the youth program. Did you know RLT is entering its 75th season bringing community theatre to Raleigh? http://www.raleighlittletheatre.org

Hi Scott, thanks!

Oh and just saying…..I’m not 13, I’m almost 15…

I am so proud of these young women and especially of my niece, Madeline Joslin!!!
