‘Avenue Q’ Makes Its Return To Triangle For 2 Shows Only
“Avenue Q” will be back in the Triangle by popular demand, Durham Performing Arts Center announced Thursday.
The Broadway musical about New York City, as told by a cast of both people and puppets, will perform two shows in April 19-20, 2011.
The show uses humor, music, and dance to tell the story of Princeton, a college grad who moves to the big city with big dreams and a small bank account. Event organizers warn the show may not be suitable for children under 13 due to adult situations and full puppet nudity.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, October 8. Ticket prices start at $38 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster outlets or through the DPAC.
