Local Choir To Take Stage With ‘Handel’s Messiah Rocks’
Handel’s Messiah Rocks is slated to play at the Memorial Auditorium this holiday season, with a local twist.
The 2010-2011 national tour of Handel’s Messiah Rocks: A Joyful Noise will make a stop in Raleigh on November 20, for one performance only at 7 p.m.
Sanderson High School choir is scheduled to perform seven songs during the show.
Handel’s Messiah Rocks blends classical music with classic rock for a new interpretation of George Fredrick Handel’s oratorio.
